The bowl and base of the glasses are hand-blown, the stem or node is cut in a facet cut. This creates an accent in the reflection of light when the glasses are used. All glasses are undamaged and have a small cross made by the glass cutter under the base.

The LOBENSTEIN drinking glass series by Professor Wilhelm Wagenfeld is probably one of the most beautiful drinking glasses made in Germany. Here we show the extremely rare sherry glasses in sapphire blue from pre-war production in a set of 6. It is very rare that these glasses have survived undamaged for almost 90 years.
