Few signs of use. Upholstery velvet is a heavy, dense fabric. In the case of our divan blanket, the pile is made of wool that was dyed before weaving and woven with a very dense, strong cotton fabric as a backing. Our light brown/dark blue blanket with turquoise stripes in a geometric Art Nouveau design shows very slight loss of pile and/or small stains. Washing is recommended.

about this Object:

The dense, heavy, and therefore very durable divan blanket in light brown/dark blue with turquoise stripes, decorated in geometric Art Nouveau style, measures an impressive 3 meters long and 140 cm high. Such blankets served as throws or draperies on sofas or as tablecloths for large dining tables in the living room. Our example is still in good condition overall and features a pleasant color scheme with geometric decoration.
