Few signs of use. Upholstery velvet is a heavy, dense fabric. In the case of our divan blanket, the pile is made of wool that has been dyed before weaving and woven with a very dense, strong cotton fabric as a backing. Our light brown/dark brown blanket with a stepped pattern shows very slight loss of pile and/or small stains. Washing is recommended.
